Shooting the Toytown Derby

There's a race going on in Toytown, and you're working the cameras. How you shoot the race will determine how it's broadcast to the world, so try to capture as much of the action as possible.

This game was made in 48 hours for the 2023 GMTK Game Jam. The theme was "Role Reversal" - we did that by making a racing game where you control the cameras, and the computer controls the cars.

Controls/How To Play:

Before you start the race, take some time to get familiar with the controls.

1-5: Switch between cameras on the preview window
Move Mouse: Aim the current preview camera
Space: Switch the live feed to the current preview camera - You only get points for the things that the live feed (people watching on TV at home) can see
Tab: Switch preview screen to show a map of the track, useful if you lose track of things.
R: Start/Stop race

There are 3 cars on the track. The middle one is much slower than the other two, so for the first go round, focus on just capturing that one.

You get points for having moving cars on screen, and the faster the car, the more points you get. Post your high score in the comments!
